Περιγραφή
United Kingdom 1906 Baronet’s Badge medal. A Baronet is the holder of a hereditary title awarded by the British Crown, originally introduced in England in the 14th century and established by King James I of England in 1611 to procure funds for the new settlement in Ulster. The Baronetcy effectively granted its members rank, title and precedence and while still being addressed as “Sir” (just as a knight), they were conventionally seen as the lowest of nobility and did not ensure any special privileges like those of higher nobility. The one offered here is an authentic 22k gold Baronet’s badge from the United Kingdom with its enameled Imperial crown, red hand of Ulster and framed in a border of roses, Irish thistles and shamrocks. Condition: Excellent , Weights 48,3 gr 22K.
